Floripa Lions FSCMZ's attentive Amanda Zigiotti managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 6th minute of play forced Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amerigo Muzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Gustavo do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Gustavo do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo do Valle in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Floripa Lions FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Lammertz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Gustavo do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Luiz Gustavo do Valle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Gustavo do Valle really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play forced Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amerigo Muzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo do Valle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Luiz Gustavo do Valle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Amerigo Muzi made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Gustavo do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 61 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Luís Alvarenga who took care of the corner kick. In the 65th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Gilberto Sousa was substituted for Aloísio Castro. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Milagros Fraga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amerigo Muzi, passed just outside the right post. In the 75th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Muzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Montenegro in the 78th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Floripa Lions FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Amanda Zigiotti. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 82nd minute, Amanda Zigiotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Gilberto Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amanda Zigiotti got a throw-in 87 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hortêncio Montenegro. Amerigo Muzi made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. Hortêncio Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hortêncio Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute of the game Amanda Zigiotti made a throw-in which Arif Gaffar Ayalp played forward. Floripa Lions FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peru for a fine match.
