Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Rudolf Meulman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Olimpo de Bahia Blanca from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Rigoberto Inguma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Claudio-Paul Caniggia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Meulman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Milio made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Julio Tolino. Rudolf Meulman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio-Paul Caniggia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Meulman having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Paulo Milio in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Teodoro Cisco.

Deportivo Pucho's Ahmet Nasir Nesefi was substituted for Claudio-Paul Caniggia. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Nasir Nesefi to strike the kick off in the second half. Józef Mlynarczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifacio Javiar's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's zone, Julio Tolino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Meulman came out of the goal and Julio Tolino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Pucho! Rudolf Meulman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Tolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Bonifacio Javiar scored 3-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Józef Mlynarczyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd match minute, Deportivo Pucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Brun to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Meulman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Eneko in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Pucho getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Romulo Brun hit a great ball. Arnulfo Marko kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Rudolf Meulman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Tolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. There was no doubt that Deportivo Pucho were the better team. Deportivo Pucho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
