Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nerio Lopez de Toro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. ACC Mavericks were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Bermudez took the corner. Jose Bermudez made a great header on ACC Mavericks's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nerio Lopez de Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 12th minute. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Hyatt. Bob Hyatt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. ACC Mavericks's Steve Van Clynenbreugel got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ACC Mavericks defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bob Hyatt. The ACC Mavericks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bob Hyatt should have stopped the shot. Bob Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ACC Mavericks's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Hyatt came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 36th minute. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bob Hyatt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Jose Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Tuan Eubanks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 47th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Chile's Orlando Casaus got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, ACC Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aare Fahlgren to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Hyatt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, ACC Mavericks's Bob Hyatt got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Bob Hyatt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 64th minute. Orlando Casaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Bob Hyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match Mariano Lacasa climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-4 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Bob Hyatt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Bob Hyatt in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Hyatt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Hyatt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Bob Hyatt made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 81st minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Hyatt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jose Bermudez, made in the 89th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Guillermo Fontirroig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. The ACC Mavericks fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chile were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
