Rolf Custermans hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a U.S.Normande's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. Youri Borderie took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikael Damm. That made the score 1-2 in the 24 minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Borderie in the 27th minute of play. The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U.S.Normande's Steve Rendu. If Youri Borderie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Youri Borderie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aymerick Tourrette in the 48th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Youri Borderies short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 79 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aymerick Tourrette who took care of the corner kick. Youri Borderie came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Youri Borderie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Youri Borderie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Youri Borderie in the 92nd minute. Guillermo Mariano got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomas Illescas. In the 94th match minute, U.S.Normande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joris Callens to maneuver through the defense. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. U.S.Normande were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
