Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Baptista in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Paulo Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Silva having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Família Ressaca MZ's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Geovanni Baptista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natalio Centenales's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Casaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Paulo Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 33 minutes of play, Família Ressaca MZ's Natalio Centenales made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 played minutes Família Ressaca MZ got a freekick which was hit by Bin Albertini. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Vasco Arruabarrena put in a rough tackle. Xavier Laureys kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Centenales, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Xavier Laureys kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ronaldinho do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Família Ressaca MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Paulo Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The long shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute really tested João Paulo Silva's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Chile's Francisco Carballar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bin Albertini in the 77 minute of the game. Xavier Laureys hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Chile's Orlando Casaus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Paulo Silva. That made the score 1-4 after 79 minutes of play. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Paulo Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 87 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Lacasa. A collision led to Família Ressaca MZ getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Geovanni Baptista hit a great ball. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
