The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ...ASGARD...'s Urbasa Jofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbasa Jofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Elian, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbasa Jofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, ...ASGARD...'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Urbasa Jofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 29th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 36th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, William Dahlqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. William Dahlqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, William Dahlqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and William Dahlqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mimoun Palić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urbasa Jofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, ...ASGARD...'s goalkeeper Urbasa Jofre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Eliodor Elian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Dahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, ...ASGARD... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Noica to maneuver through the defense. Iulian Noica kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ...ASGARD... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Elian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moise Tache during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moise Tache hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A very nice done corner allowed Luis Andino to score against Urbasa Jofre in ...ASGARD...'s goal. 2-2 after 89 minutes. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Jofre having to interfere. ...ASGARD... made a substitution.
