With an all-out effort, Trindade Atlético Club's Paulo Duarte threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vintilă Ungur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dagoberto Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Paulo Duarte made a huge save. Victorino Viñaspre hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Paulo Duarte got control of the ball when Dagoberto Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Victorino Viñaspre in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Trindade Atlético Club's Fulgencio Rius. After a rather tough play, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Victorino Viñaspre got a free kick in the 20th minute. Paulo Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Dracena in the 24th minute. Dagoberto Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Paulo Duarte made a huge save. Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Paulo Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ya Perdimos F.C. from getting a goal against them. Dagoberto Dracena struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Paulo Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trindade Atlético Club. Dagoberto Dracena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Trindade Atlético Club were awarded a corner. Falcão de Barros went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Trindade Atlético Club's Falcão de Barros to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulo Duarte despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dragoş Vâtcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Paulo Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dagoberto Dracena in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Duarte saved Ya Perdimos F.C. from getting behind.

51 minutes into the match, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Dracena came free, but Paulo Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Charro Dieguez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiaguinho Correia. Charro Dieguez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charro Dieguez in the 61st minute of play forced Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's Dagoberto Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trindade Atlético Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Falcão de Barros in the 63rd minute. Trindade Atlético Club's Maurinho Dias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Duarte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Ya Perdimos F.C. defense, Róbson Couto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Duarte. The Ya Perdimos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Duarte should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Couto came free, but Paulo Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragoş Vâtcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Trindade Atlético Club's Tiaguinho Correia got control of the ball when Charro Dieguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Róbson Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 92nd minute, Victorino Viñaspre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Ya Perdimos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Viñaspre. Trindade Atlético Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
