Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Tomas Berganza sped through 6 8 ACEM SPR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Konstanty Dzerwucki. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstanty Dzerwucki having to make a save.
