Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Liu Yuan made the kick off and thus started the match. Felix Montenegro got a throw-in 3 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Zorita. When Athletic Bostero's Liu Yuan in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Cecilio Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Ralph Spaan put in a rough tackle. Daniel Zorita walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Liu Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Athletic Bostero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liu Yuan couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. Cecilio Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liu Yuan in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Athletic Bostero's Liu Yuan. But to his dismay, Liu Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 59th minute Liu Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Felix Montenegro had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Nicolas Tipi's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Tipi helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Felix Montenegro. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Athletic Bostero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Tipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Athletic Bostero's Leo Costa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Liu Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Athletic Bostero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liu Yuan couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Cecilio Martinez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nicolas Tipi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 79 played minutes Athletic Bostero got a freekick which was hit by Jeremiah James. 82 minutes into the match, Nicolas Tipi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Tipi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Yuan in the 87th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Primitivo Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Athletic Bostero players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Athletic Bostero were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
