Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Fabio Sadurni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Justo Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 8 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Ruy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. NUMBA's Fabio Sadurni got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justo Ruy having to make a save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Justo Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes NUMBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by NUMBA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Agustín Saelices drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind NUMBA's goalkeeper. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Jonatan Palban got a free kick in the 35th minute. Jonatan Palban's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Palban helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Jonatan Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Palbans short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. NUMBA's Justo Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Jonatan Palban notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goalkeeper Justo Ruy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. NUMBA were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Aztore took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Edmund Wierzcholek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Edmund Wierzcholek kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Edmund Wierzcholek managed to get in a good position for a shot. NUMBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Wierzcholek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NUMBA's Justo Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to NUMBA getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jarne Decaluwe hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Palban in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Eusebio Caradaro got a free kick in the 84th minute. A hard shot 88 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Justo Ruy managed to make a qualified save. NUMBA's players were relieved. The supporters of NUMBA booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Aztore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Justo Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Ruy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
