Ferdinand Joldea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 2nd minute of the match. Ferdinand Joldea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 7th minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Joldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Joldea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teofil Gorzkiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofil Gorzkiewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Roger Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Teofil Gorzkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Guilherme Félix was substituted for Yang Sang Qian. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 55th minute of play. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Ferdinand Joldea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 58th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Félix came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cassius Byrne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Joldea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Sam Campbells short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Ferdinand Joldea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sam Campbell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Ferdinand Joldea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zach Harrison in the 80th minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Joldea made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Monty Rogers sent off a good shot on target. Sam Campbell took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Joldea. Ferdinand Joldea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. USA played a much better game than TIMETER EC -DMZ- and deserved their victory. The TIMETER EC -DMZ- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
