Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Transito started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Cordeiro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Rodolfo Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Transito in the 27th minute of play. Laureano Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play, Santa Maradona's Laureano Sustrai made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Wei Kang Hai. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Errapel having to make a save. Laureano Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Miguel Transito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Transito, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Rodolfo Cordeiro scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Rodolfo Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Transito in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Rodolfo Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Rodolfo Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Miguel Transito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After 77 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Văcăroiu. Jonathan Errapel made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After 81 minutes Santa Maradona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Errapel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Corneliu Văcăroiu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Jonathan Errapel in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's Laureano Sustrai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute Miguel Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Santa Maradona getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Corneliu Văcăroiu hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venezuela reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Santa Maradona fully deserved thier win.
