Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Egoitz in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Isaac Intxixu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Fumo Pocock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Oshyros ll's goalkeeper Fumo Pocock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Egoitz in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oshyros ll made a substitution. François Marotte replaced Cristian Egoitz. After 63 minutes of play, Oshyros ll's 孙翀轩 made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from François Marotte in the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Oshyros ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. 孙翀轩 didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fumo Pocock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game François Marotte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Djamel Autret had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Djamel Autret was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by François Marotte in the 94th minute of play. After 96 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leandro Lucado who took care of the corner kick.
