Pascual Carballar made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Axel Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kenneth Libesoons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 18th minute of the match. Kenneth Libesoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Terremoto FC's Jakob Tobbackers got a free kick in the 29th minute. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shi Ming in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shi Ming to make the kick off. A collision led to Terremoto FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jonas Lore hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes, Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kenneth Libesoons came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Duarte in the 66th minute of play. Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Ming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Shi Ming cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Terremoto FC's Gaston Laurentzi was substituted for Uriel Sesuldo. The supporters of Colombia booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Kenneth Libesoons in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Luis Cazalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kenneth Libesoons was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jeremias Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Terremoto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Macedo couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Samuel Navarro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Terremoto FC's Benicio Sugar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Terremoto FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
