After a rather tough play, Pacífico FC's Kerry Flöter got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kerry Flöter in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Kerry Flöter notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Magno Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Venezuela's attentive Salvador Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Ismael Atauri made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Severino Mano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pacífico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Mano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Flöter in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Ismael Atauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pacífico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. A collision led to Pacífico FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ismael Atauri hit a great ball. After 60 minutes Pacífico FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastian Frey despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sebastian Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Kerry Flöter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes Pacífico FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Atauri. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Zbyszko Jaraczewski lost his temper 87 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 94 played minutes Pacífico FC got a freekick which was hit by 肖志庭. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
