But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Gunvald Glarkrog despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Andres Oper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's Andres Oper sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Oper in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres Oper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Pâslaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Andres Oper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Andres Oper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Ginhart didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Strib Galacticos IF throughout the match.
