Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Namasivayam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 17thth minute of the game Samuel Namasivayam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petter Hökqvist in the 19th minute. 3-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Samuel Namasivayam elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play forced ≮王者归来≯话江湖之华大毕业's goalkeeper Carter Rulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 63 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Aravena in the 67th minute of play.
