The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pablo Solari got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Pedro Indiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Riverzone's Ezequiel Centurión did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Goizeder in the 6th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Centurión came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Centurión read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riverzone's goalie prevented a goal. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Solari in the 23rd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Centurión read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Ezequiel Centurión showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of play forced Riverzone's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Centurión showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ezequiel Centurión showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riverzone's Ezequiel Centurión was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Centurión read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Esequiel Barco came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Solari struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riverzone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Garrido during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Chile:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Riverzone:s goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Lacasa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ezequiel Centurión. That made the score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Goizeder in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Riverzone's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ezequiel Centurión reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Centurión read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Centurión narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Jakobsson came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riverzone's Ezequiel Centurión proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Riverzone from getting a goal against them. In the 80th match minute, Riverzone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Kranevitter to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Ezequiel Centurión when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ezequiel Centurión tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Centurión. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Centurión read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
