Teofilo Valentin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teofilo Valentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes Pulpo1971 FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teofilo Valentin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 24 minutes into the match, Pulpo1971 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Teofilo Valentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pulpo1971 FC's Teofilo Valentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Katia Lallera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-1. Lehen Guardamino kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teofilo Valentin. That made the score 1-4 after 69 minutes of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Teofilo Valentin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teofilo Valentin could save by the left post. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Valentin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Teofilo Valentin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Teofilo Valentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Teofilo Valentin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 81 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Pulpo1971 FC's Mane Alcubilla was substituted for Lehen Guardamino. Pulpo1971 FC made a substitution. Grabiel Arcelay replaced Katia Lallera. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Teofilo Valentin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Agustín Saelices took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Teofilo Valentin to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of play forced Pulpo1971 FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Valentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pulpo1971 FC.
