Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francesco Toldo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's Suleiman Süleyman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Suleiman Süleyman got free with Julio Vera in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Robbe Stroobans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Robbe Stroobans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play forced Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Salvatore Schillaci hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Peretu City 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbe Stroobans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Robbe Stroobans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Suleiman Süleyman's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suleiman Süleyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorel Manole kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Suleiman Süleyman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peretu City 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Suleiman Süleyman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Suleiman Süleyman scored 1-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peretu City 09's Ramiro Paul was substituted for Suleiman Süleyman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Francesco Toldo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robbe Stroobans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Paul in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Peretu City 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Manole didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peretu City 09's Francesco Toldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Peretu City 09 from getting a goal against them. In the 91stth minute of the game Ramiro Paul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Robbe Stroobans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peretu City 09 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
