Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, VN BAKITO's Mei Zhi Jun got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ruslan Rúklyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruslan Rúklyov. Ruslan Rúklyov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mei Zhi Jun in the 17 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denimir Tzonkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ruslan Rúklyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. VN BAKITO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 26thth minute of the game Denimir Tzonkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mei Zhi Jun hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. VN BAKITO's Ruslan Rúklyov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 39th minute of play. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The VN BAKITO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ruslan Rúklyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Denimir Tzonkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denimir Tzonkov in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruslan Rúklyov saved VN BAKITO from getting behind. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Mei Zhi Jun with Sevdalin Evtimov as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruslan Rúklyov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruslan Rúklyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute of the match. Ruslan Rúklyov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
