After 6 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Millano. 8 minutes into the game, Augusto Distiratsu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. La Candela FC's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. Rolando Noboa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Candela FC's Ramiro Gabrio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Damian Servando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Servando in the 19th minute. In the 26th minute Laurenz Goddez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match, Guaberto Bitxintxo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Servando in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Santo Millano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Gabrio having to interfere. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurenz Goddez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Servando in the 64th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Candela FC's Silverio Lluterio was substituted for Damian Servando. La Candela FC made a substitution. Gonzalo Soin replaced Laurenz Goddez. Hu Han Han made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lu Yang Xing however managed to control. In the 70th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Moți to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Candela FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Gabrio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Silverio Lluterio struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Candela FC. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Silverio Lluterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Ramiro Gabrio in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramiro Gabrio was a little too slow when Rafael Gallo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 3-3. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Lluterio in the 94th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
