Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Darren Verlet scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mané Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Mané Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of the match. After 27 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimmy Lind who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jimmy Lind almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. In the 30th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Osmundsen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Zeru Dorado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xacintu Magadan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Osmundsen charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Osmundsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Cristiano Osmundsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antal Szaniszló received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Mané Andrade in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Felix Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mané Andrade to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Maraponga FAC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Antal Szaniszló hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Maraponga FAC's Jimmy Lind to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 87th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jimmy Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maraponga FAC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Lind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Xacintu Magadan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
