Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fabian Inautzi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Victor Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes in the game Ricardo Oihenarte did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Benito Llorienzo. In the 8th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. When Leandro Rios fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARADONA sublime 1986's protests and gave Leandro Rios a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes MARADONA sublime 1986 got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Rios. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo got a free kick in the 14th minute. 20 minutes in the game Ricardo Oihenarte did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Benito Llorienzo. The long shot by Leandro Rios in the 30th minute really tested Lautaro Navarro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Inautzi in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eduardo Chap's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Chap helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MARADONA sublime 1986 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eduardo Chap hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute of play forced MARADONA sublime 1986's goalkeeper Victor Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Fabian Inautzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Fabian Inautzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Goizeder in the 54th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Victor Arixo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Arixo having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victor Arixo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jaime Obano managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARADONA sublime 1986's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Obano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Leandro Rios was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, MARADONA sublime 1986's Leandro Rios got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Arixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaime Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MARADONA sublime 1986's Jaime Obano got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of MARADONA sublime 1986 booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
