Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Archie Greenwood took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomislav Strahija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kentucky Fried Wings's Tomislav Strahija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 6th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Kentucky Fried Wings's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benard Ngamta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 9th minute Kentucky Fried Wings were awarded a corner. Grant Tindale went to the cornerflag to take it. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Greenwood in the 12th minute of the match. Hugh Branston kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Mexico's attentive Lorenzo Cazalla managed to snatch the ball when Grant Tindale made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Archie Greenwood blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Archie Greenwood tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomislav Strahija. Kentucky Fried Wings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomislav Strahija having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Archie Greenwood kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. Tomislav Strahija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomislav Strahija narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomislav Strahija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomislav Strahija was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 56th minute of play forced Kentucky Fried Wings's goalkeeper Tomislav Strahija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Leonardo Leoz got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th match minute, Kentucky Fried Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basil Gilroy to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Benard Ngamta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Kentucky Fried Wings's Tomislav Strahija. Tomislav Strahija was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Archie Greenwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomislav Strahija made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Son van Basten in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Son van Basten in the 78th minute of the match. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomislav Strahija came out and tried to block the shot, but Facundo Cadaval slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 80th minute. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Kentucky Fried Wings's Son van Basten. But to his dismay, Son van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. After a defensive mix-up in Kentucky Fried Wings's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomislav Strahija came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Son van Basten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
