Okan Kongur scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tracto's Gigih Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Tracto getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fernan Perrando hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Tracto's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gigih Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tracto's goalie prevented a goal. Gigih Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Tracto getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ramiro Funes Mori hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigih Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Tracto's Herminio Distiratsu got a free kick in the 26th minute. Okan Kongur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 30th minute of the match, Okan Kongur tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gigih Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 34th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Tracto's Gigih Buffon got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okan Kongur in the 60th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Gigih Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gisbert during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Okan Kongur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tracto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okan Kongur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Gigih Buffon to make any attempt to save it. In the 91st match minute, Tracto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Pinti to maneuver through the defense. Tracto succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
