Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jon Iruegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute of the match. Delfino Rosario hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Fernanco Peso scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernanco Peso, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jon Iruegas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jon Iruegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Cristal's goalkeeper Jon Iruegas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jon Iruegas came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. After 91 minutes, Hüseyin Turan Elçibey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Cristal and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card.
