Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Hernandez in the 6th minute. The throw-in from Amadeo Francesco in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Esteban Iztal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 20 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Piratas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Piratas FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimond Lenk came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Patricio Costa made a precise shot to the right of Raimond Lenk. Piratas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Idacio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piratas FC the free kick. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Spyros Zacharioudakis made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Constantino Idacio hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantino Idacio to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 55 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Bochynski. After having played for 59 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Esteban Iztal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Idacio in the 79th minute of the match. Nunez Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piratas FC. Esteban Iztal hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimond Lenk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Constantino Idacio fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas FC's protests and gave Constantino Idacio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Constantino Idacio hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Czeslaw Bochynski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piratas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
