Mirko Vervoort didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Gronow went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Vaz in the 6th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Todd Gronow dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mirko Vervoort, 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Mirko Vervoort successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 15th minute, Todd Gronow fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mirko Vervoort, passed just outside the right post. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kurt Holthuis was slow to take the kick. During this time Mijdrecht Maffia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mijdrecht Maffia's Kurt Holthuis to fire away a dangerous shot which Abelardo Janpier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Vaz in the 21st minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mirko Vervoort made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Vaz in the 25th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirko Vervoort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Gronow in the 34th minute of the match. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 36th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirko Vervoort was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Todd Gronow showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 38 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Juvenal Vaz made the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Vaz in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram Wessel in the 61st minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Todd Gronow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 65 minutes into the match, Todd Gronow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mirko Vervoort. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Todd Gronow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Mijdrecht Maffia's Ate Veninga got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mirko Vervoort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Gronow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Todd Gronow in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mirko Vervoort prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by 西门 亮 got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Todd Gronow took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mirko Vervoort. Mirko Vervoort dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juvenal Vaz got free with Abelardo Janpier in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juvenal Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Janpier having to interfere. Todd Gronow took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mirko Vervoort. Mirko Vervoort dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Abelardo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Wessel, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Gronow in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mirko Vervoort saved Mijdrecht Maffia from getting behind. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
