Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Lesardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Soc. y Dep. Aviación Orán's Stelios Pirovolikos got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Berart Sarri came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Sebastián Rambert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 30 minutes into the match, Soc. y Dep. Aviación Orán's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gilberto Lesardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Berart Sarri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Evis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Berart Sarri sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berart Sarri in the 44th minute of play. Gilberto Lesardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berart Sarri made a kick off. Tobias Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tobias Arias hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gilberto Lesardo but with some difficulty. The supporters of Soc. y Dep. Aviación Orán booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Rambert in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berart Sarri went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berart Sarri in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gilberto Lesardo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Bazkoare's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Ciro Bazkoare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Soc. y Dep. Aviación Orán's Tadeo Valente was substituted for Cirilo Heli. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastián Rambert was slow to take the kick. During this time Soc. y Dep. Aviación Orán's players had a chance to rest. Sebastián Rambert made a great header on Soc. y Dep. Aviación Orán's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Soc. y Dep. Aviación Orán were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
