Piastów's Marcos Chavez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Marcos Chavez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Chavez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute. F.C. Piastów's Marcos Chavez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 31st minute of play. Marcos Chavez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Marcos Chavez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jikolo Mabalane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Bronkala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro scored 0-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Chavez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Chavez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Chavez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Chavez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. Piastów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of F.C. Piastów's goalie and right to Felix Montenegro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. F.C. Piastów's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. F.C. Piastów made a substitution. Edward Zacharzewski replaced Walery Ptaszek. With a little luck, F.C. Piastów's Marcos Chavez got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C. Piastów's Dawid Pleban got a free kick in the 74th minute. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Marcos Chavez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Marcos Chavez in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Rasiak in the 95th minute of the match. The F.C. Piastów fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
