Keylor Navas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Australian Youth Academy's attentive Jarrod Mcmillan managed to snatch the ball when 贺皓扬 made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Lauro Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes Club Atletico Chusca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rufus Roach who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rufus Roach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serafin Eate quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Craig didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Australian Youth Academy's Gabriel Martini in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Chusca's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Lauro Moreira made the kick off in the second half. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Australian Youth Academy defense, Lauro Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keylor Navas. The Australian Youth Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keylor Navas should have stopped the shot. Lauro Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Club Atletico Chusca getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Blas Edorta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Baba in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Fletcher Baba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate got control of the ball when Fletcher Baba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garth Brough's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Serafin Eate skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Australian Youth Academy were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Club Atletico Chusca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rufus Roach took the corner. After taking down the ball on Australian Youth Academy's corner Rufus Roach fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serafin Eate quite easily take care of the ball. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atletico Chusca! Australian Youth Academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
