After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Diamante U18's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Fagildo came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Gregorio Fagildo. Deportivo Diamante U18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Diego Milito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Gregorio Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of the match. Gregorio Fagildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Froilan Montel hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gregorio Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Deportivo Diamante U18's Gregorio Fagildo. In the 77th match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Chepe to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Fagildo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Gregorio Fagildo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
