Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Andries De Putter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lei Bin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andries De Putter in the 9th minute of play. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Kevin Mastache notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AFC United's Lei Bin. Lei Bin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When AFC United's Andries De Putter in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. AFC United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jordi Scherz in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Andries De Putter made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andries De Putter. Patricio Caminero kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Andries De Putter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Andries De Putter came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Andries De Putter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, AFC United's Andries De Putter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 46th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andries De Putter to make the kick off. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC United. Andries De Putter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. 54 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Andries De Putter came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC United's Lei Bin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save AFC United from getting a goal against them. If Isa Savage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Montenegro in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lei Bin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 66 minutes into the match, Andries De Putter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andries De Putter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. AFC United made a substitution. Faustino Asprilla replaced Andries De Putter. Lei Bin was a little too slow when Abram Secada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 4-4. With a little luck, AFC United's Lei Bin got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustino Asprilla went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. Lei Bin made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Faustino Asprilla. But to his dismay, Faustino Asprilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-4. Vintilă Arnăutu's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vintilă Arnăutu helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Arnăutu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lei Bin. Ignacio Mastache showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-5. AFC United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
