Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. Basilio Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 4th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Llin in the 6th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Pascual Llin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Llin came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Paul was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. 29 minutes into the game, Joaquim Carlos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Llin in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Pelotines Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Basilio Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Pascual Llin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Llin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascual Llin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Pelotines Sporting's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Puig fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Llin's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 58th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Llin in the 65th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Pelotines Sporting got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pascual Llin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juan Lixandro made a great header on Pelotines Sporting's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. Celedonio Frederik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Joaquim Carlos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Frederik in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Generoso Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pelotines Sporting walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
