Axel Montenegro scored 4-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiaguinho Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiaguinho Correia saved Trindade Atlético Club from getting behind.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dagoberto Dracena to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiaguinho Correia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Dragoş Vâtcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trindade Atlético Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Falcão de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Trindade Atlético Club's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
