Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Afonso Proença made the kick off and thus started the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by RØSANEGRA's Leandro Fonseca. But to his dismay, Leandro Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Leandro Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RØSANEGRA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play forced RØSANEGRA's goalkeeper Feliberto Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Fonseca in the 24th minute of the match. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliberto Oihenarte having to make a save. After a rather tough play, RØSANEGRA's Douglas Costa got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind RØSANEGRA's goalkeeper Feliberto Oihenarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Feliberto Oihenarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 44th minute, when RØSANEGRA's Dênis Barbosa after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jonathan Ferrant in Venezuela's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. With 51 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Mina commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 51 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dênis Barbosa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Afonso Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Fonseca came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Correa in the 77th minute of the match. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Feliberto Oihenarte despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Afonso Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, RØSANEGRA's Virgílio de Alcântara got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Leandro Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
