When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xavier Salazar made a kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wenzel Winter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Firman came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ye Yan Yu made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cadáveres Voladores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Eutropio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Cadáveres Voladores got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Salazar. After a rather tough play, Cadáveres Voladores's Arnaldo Firman got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 88 minutes into the match, Cadáveres Voladores's goalkeeper Ye Yan Yu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cadáveres Voladores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Cadáveres Voladores succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
