Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 5 minutes, Celedonio Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. bicho colorado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Omero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Epigonoi Kouches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but bicho colorado's Adan Rafel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after bicho colorado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Antonio Arias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but bicho colorado's Adan Rafel did a great save. Adan Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, bicho colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Adan Rafel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in bicho colorado's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Rafel came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. bicho colorado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 28th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adan Rafel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Rafel saved bicho colorado from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Matías Caruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Omero came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Omero in the 58th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epigonoi Kouches in the 67th minute of play. When bicho colorado's Diego Rotondi in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute, Epigonoi Kouches left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The bicho colorado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 85 minutes, Felix Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the bicho colorado players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Diego Rotondi managed to get in a good position for a shot. bicho colorado's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Rotondi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celedonio Omero's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Omero helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Adan Rafel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Saelices in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adan Rafel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. bicho colorado were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
