Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Adriano Diaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Deilmison Bergkamp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Deilmison Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Deilmison Yashin quite easily take care of the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deilmison Yashin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison Bergkamp in the 32nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Acácio da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Acácio da Silva couldn't finish the play. Rubens Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubens Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rubens Tasso hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Jose Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deilmison Yashin having to interfere. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Adriano Diaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Deilmison Bergkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Deilmison Yashin made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After 54 played minutes ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Tasso. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Deilmison Yashin made a huge save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Deilmison Bergkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deilmison Bergkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison Bergkamp in the 74th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deilmison Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio da Silva in the 88th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Adriano Diaz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
