Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Agustín Saelices left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Carlos Saúl Cortés took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Carlos Saúl Cortés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montes in the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Saúl Cortés breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Academia Juvenil Wenumapu got a freekick which was hit by Timeteo Rondizzoni. Carlos Saúl Cortés made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. Carlos Saúl Cortés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Carlos Saúl Cortés reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viviano Mallea kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Carlos Saúl Cortés reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Academia Juvenil Wenumapu! In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Saúl Cortés. 0-2. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Salvatore Gandarillas sent off a good shot on target.

Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's Lautaro Barahona. But to his dismay, Lautaro Barahona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Lautaro Barahona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's Timeteo Rondizzoni got a free kick in the 60th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Saúl Cortés narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Saúl Cortés could save by the left post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Barahona in the 77th minute of play. Carlos Saúl Cortés made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's Timeteo Rondizzoni managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Camilo Gisbert in the 86 minute of the game. Carlos Saúl Cortés made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 91st minute of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Academia Juvenil Wenumapu throughout the match.
