Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Pardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Baltasar Ostots had to leave the field with a concussion. After 2 minutes, Jaime Pardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the Ejército Soviético players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Cristante saved Ejército Soviético from getting behind. Ariel Cristante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Escribano in the 11th minute of play. Simon Lehen might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Lehen ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 14th minute of play forced Ejército Soviético's goalkeeper Ariel Cristante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Primitivo Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Cristante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Liher hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ejército Soviético's Ariel Cristante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauricio Gorbea's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Gorbea helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Ejército Soviético got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Gorbea. Jaime Pardo, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Jose Sanz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ejército Soviético the free kick. Jose Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Simon Lehen took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Simon Lehen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Lehen was the one to do the kick off. During the 52nd minute of the match Jaime Pardo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jaime Pardo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 53rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pardo to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Simon Lehen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Epifanio Niguel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Simon Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ejército Soviético's Epifanio Niguel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 68 minute of the game. The Ejército Soviético fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Ejército Soviético's Simon Lehen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Lehen in the 73rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomas Hats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th of the match, Hector Covarrubias tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ariel Cristante got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 87th minute, Benjamin Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Cristante having to interfere. Paraguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ejército Soviético had won, even though Paraguay had held more of the ball.
