Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Walsh. In the 10th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Edwin Caddick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Caddick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. 0Fubar You's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that 0Fubar You's Edwin Caddick managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when George Walsh sent off a good shot on target. Edwin Caddick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, 0Fubar You's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Edwin Caddick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, 0Fubar You's George Walsh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of 0Fubar You booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, 0Fubar You's George Walsh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 39th minute, Paco Sedgman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, 0Fubar You was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irwin Kuskopf to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edwin Caddick was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edwin Caddick. The goal made the score 1-1. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Walsh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irwin Kuskopf in the 59th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliot Pound kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edwin Caddick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Edwin Caddick made a huge save. George Walsh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Edwin Caddick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Eliot Pound threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin Caddick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edwin Caddick was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-2.
