When Slavyan Dudumov fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CARDANO's protests and gave Slavyan Dudumov a yellow card for diving instead. Stancho Zvezdanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stancho Zvezdanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosen Michkov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stancho Zvezdanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Rosen Michkov put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso.

With a little luck, CARDANO's Stancho Zvezdanov got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. CARDANO's Stancho Zvezdanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save CARDANO from getting a goal against them. In the 58th match minute, CARDANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristiyan Vlahovski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuncho Taralanski in the 67th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Stancho Zvezdanov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Seco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stancho Zvezdanov. That made the score 3-4 in the 87 minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuncho Taralanski in the 94th minute of the match.
