Agostinho de Amorim came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agostinho de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agostinho de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agostinho de Amorim. The ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agostinho de Amorim should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agostinho de Amorim. ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agostinho de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Jaime Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Agostinho de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho de Amorim having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Alberto Gisbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agostinho de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 94th minute of the match. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
