Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roy Makaay kicked off to start the match. Nenko Reza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nenko Reza was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Roy Makaay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Eduardo Angulo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nenko Reza. Villaverde Celeste Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute Villaverde Celeste Clube were awarded a corner. Roy Makaay went to the cornerflag to take it. Villaverde Celeste Clube's attentive Edmund Wawrukiewicz managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Makaay in the 55th minute of play. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Nenko Reza in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nenko Reza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute. Alonso Berganza made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anthony Alvarado. After 81 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After 82 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Moises Gayoso. Roy Makaay scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes in the game Tang Qian Xiong did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eduardo Angulo. 87 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Nenko Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes in the game Guo Ao did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Roy Makaay. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kıraç Uskan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nenko Reza. Villaverde Celeste Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Gallo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Gallo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nenko Reza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru played a much better game than Villaverde Celeste Clube and deserved their victory. The Villaverde Celeste Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
