Lupere FC - DMZ's Daniel Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. Juarês Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Camilo Gaos got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomas Illescas. Lupere FC - DMZ's Vitório Quirino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jonathan Venegas, made in the 26th minute of the game. Lupere FC - DMZ's Vitório Quirino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 29 minute of the game. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Nóbrega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Renan Quirino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 34th playminute. Daniel Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Lupere FC - DMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 1-5.

Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a Lupere FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lupere FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Patricio Costa scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Nóbrega, making the score, 1-6. In the 68th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório Quirino during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lupere FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vitório Quirino hit a great ball. Daniel Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute. Venezuela played a much better game than Lupere FC - DMZ and deserved their victory. The Lupere FC - DMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
