After a defensive mix-up in Piorun Komorowice's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Milan came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Damian Gonsiewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dariusz Jestrimski came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Piorun Komorowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dariusz Jestrimski couldn't finish the play. Dariusz Jestrimski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Mikolaj Milan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piorun Komorowice's Mikolaj Milan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 40 in the game by Tanek Zalipski from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Zalipski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Piorun Komorowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliusz Bochynski to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Zalipski, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliusz Bochynski during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
