Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Mcdonald in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Unzueta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Albano Unzueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Nereo Cacheres made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Brown. After 52 minutes of play, Los once leones Ourense's Nereo Cacheres made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Albano Unzueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los once leones Ourense's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Unzueta came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Dabi Vila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo-Enrique Alabern kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Pablo-Enrique Alabern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dabi Vila fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los once leones Ourense's protests and gave Dabi Vila a yellow card for diving instead. Dabi Vila kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, USA's Monty Rogers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Albano Unzueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Albano Unzueta in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Mcdonald in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albano Unzueta saved Los once leones Ourense from getting behind. With a little luck, Los once leones Ourense's Albano Unzueta got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacob May kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald.
