The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teofil Gorzkiewicz took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 9th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Joldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofil Gorzkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Ferdinand Joldea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Joldea came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 20th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Joldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Ferdinand Joldea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Teofil Gorzkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Peru booed when TIMETER EC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Joldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ferdinand Joldea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Joldea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of TIMETER EC -DMZ- booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great ball.

TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Mel Speerschneider was substituted for Rivaldo Brasil. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofil Gorzkiewicz made a kick off. Ferdinand Joldea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 53rd minute. Ferdinand Joldea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. TIMETER EC -DMZ- made a substitution. Mathias Alves replaced Teofil Gorzkiewicz. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Mathias Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Mathias Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinand Joldea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of the match. Joaquim Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ferdinand Joldea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Joldea came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Joldea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing TIMETER EC -DMZ- to leave the ground with a draw.
